The chat feature is designed so your mission team can talk privately inside the app. Messages are protected by login, group access checks, and encrypted connections.
People must log in before they can use chat. The app checks who they are before showing messages.
Mission messages are limited to active members of that organization.
When a message is sent or received, it moves through secure HTTPS connections so outsiders cannot simply read it in transit.
Messages are stored in Base44’s managed database environment with platform-level security controls.
Someone outside your mission organization should not be able to open the app and read your conversations. The app checks identity first, then checks whether that person belongs to the right mission organization before messages are loaded.
No online system can honestly promise that risk is zero forever, but this chat is built with strong access controls and secure connections to prevent unauthorized people from viewing or intercepting messages through the app.
